Syria participates in the 12th session of the World Urban Forum in Egypt

Syria is taking  part today  in the 12th session of the World Urban Forum WUF 12 held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The event  is organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Program “ UN Habitat”  under the title “ It All  starts at home.. Local actions for sustainable cities and communities”.
The Syrian delegation participating in the forum , which continues until the eighth of this month, is headed by the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Dr. Hamza Ali, and representatives of the Ministry, and the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment.
During the event , urban and  housing issues, challenges, opportunities, successful experiences and lessons learned will be discussed and exchanged.
