Syria’s New Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Geneva Haidar Ali Ahmad has stressed that Syria is keen on cooperating with the UN Office based on neutrality and objectivity and away from politicization.
He made the remarks Saturday morning after he presented his credentials to Tatiana Valovaya, the Director General of the UN Office in Geneva.
He reiterated that Syria, being one of the founding members of the United Nations, is committed to the goals and principles of the UN Charter, the international law and the international humanitarian law, expressing Syria’s willingness to cooperate with the UN Office on the basis of neutrality, objectivity and away from any politicization.
