Syria expresses condolences to Algeria over victims of the forest fires

Damascus, (ST) – Syria expressed its heartfelt condolences to and solidarity with the Algerian government and people over the painful loss caused by forest fires in some areas.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Wednesday: Syria extends its heartfelt condolences to the government and brotherly Algerian people over their painful and heavy losses caused by forest fires in some areas, especially in the lives of civilians and army personnel.

The Ministry added: Syria expresses its solidarity with the leadership, government and people of the brotherly Algerian people and the families of the victims.

The Ministry affirmed its confidence in the ability of brotherly Algeria to overcome this tragic event.
