Syria Exports the First Batch of Blood Orange to Russia

Damascus (ST) – The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection announced that the “Syrian Trading” exported the first batch of blood oranges to Russia in support of the Syrian farmers.

The Ministry said in a statement on Monday that the “Syrian Trading” had bought part of the blood orange crop from farmers directly, stored it, and packed it in its centers in the coastal region.

Today, the Syrian Trading began exporting the first batch, which is about 250 tons of blood orange, to the Russian Republic of Crimea, the ninistry added, noting that there is a large quantity of blood ornage that will also be exported, the ministry added.
