Syria and Cuba have stressed the need to boost parliamentary relations between the two friendly countries and to exchange visits and experiences.
This came during a meeting on Wednesday between Chairman and members of the Syrian-Cuban Friendship Committee in the People’s Assembly and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba in Damascus Luis Mariano Fernandez Rodriguez.
Rodriguez affirmed that the bilateral relations between the two countries are strong, noting the need to boost them in the parliamentary, economic, scientific, cultural and health fields to serve the common interest of the Syrian and Cuban peoples.
He asserted that it is important to coordinate the positions of the two countries in all international forums.
