Syria, Cuba discuss boosting trade relations

Havana (ST): The Syrian Ambassador to Cuba Ghassan Obeid discussed with Cuba’s Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Ricardo Caprisas ways to strengthen economic and trade relations between the two countries, and opportunities for the development of these ties.

During the meeting of the two sides at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment in the capital, Havana, the two sides underlined the importance of expanding economic relations and trade exchange between the two countries, especially in light of the current circumstances in which they are exposed to an unfair blockade by the United States and other parties.
