Syria condemns the US attack on the Chinese balloon and affirms its support for Beijing’s position

Syria condemned the US attack on the Chinese balloon and affirmed its support for the Chinese position and its adherence to dialogue to resolve disputes between countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Thursday: The Syrian Arab Republic condemns the attack launched by the United States of America on the Chinese civil research balloon, which entered the US airspace due to force majeure, and did not pose a military or civilian threat.
The statement added: As usual, the United States of America resorts to the use of violence instead of dealing with such cases seriously and responsibly, in accordance with the rules of the international law.
The statement continued: The Syrian Arab Republic affirms its support for the Chinese position and its commitment to the values and goals of the United Nations Charter, and its adherence to dialogue and diplomacy as a means to find a peaceful solution to disputes between countries.
