Syria condemns the terrorist attack on the Iranian-Pakistani borders

On May 25th, Syria condemned the terrorist attack by a group of terrorists on a point on the Iranian-Pakistani borders.

The point is affiliated to the city of Sarawan in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan, to the southeast of Iran. The terrorists fled immediately after carrying out the attack.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Thursday: “Syria affirms that this cowardly terrorist act aims to destabilize security and stability on the borders between the two countries, prevent cooperation and trade exchange between the two peoples and undermine fraternal and friendship ties between the peoples of the two countries.”

The Ministry concluded its statement by saying: “Syria extends its condolences to the brotherly Iranian people over the martyrdom of the Iranian soldiers and affirms its adherence to dialogue and diplomacy as a means to finding a peaceful solution to disputes between countries.”
