Syria condemns Israel’s terrorist aggression on the countryside of Aleppo

Syria condemned the terrorist aggression launched by the Israeli occupation entity at dawn today,whichv targeted a number of points in the countryside of Aleppo and resulted in the martyrdom and wounding of a number of civilians and military personnel.

It reiterated the call on all countries of the world to shoulder their responsibilities regarding the serious and repeated Israeli violations of the principles of international law and international humanitarian law, and obliging the Zionist entity and those who support it to stop their attacks and crimes in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement that SANA received a copy of today: ” The Syrian Arab Republic condemns the terrorist aggression launched by the Israeli occupation entity at dawn today, targeting a number of points in rural Aleppo, resulting in the martyrdom and wounding of a number of civilians and military personnel and material damage to public and private property.”

The Ministry added: “It was no coincidence that the Zionist racist entity carried out this aggression at the same time as armed terrorist groups allied with the Zionist entity launched attacks by drone aircraft from Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo, in an attempt to target civilians in and around the city of Aleppo.”

“The Syrian Arab Republic stresses that the Israeli violations of Syrian territory and its repeated attacks on residential neighborhoods prove the aggressive and barbaric nature of this entity, and reaffirms that it is the main cause of the instability in the region and the suffering of its people as a result of these attacks and the daily genocidal crimes committed by Zionist fascism against the Palestinian people,” the Ministry said.

“The Syrian Arab Republic calls on all countries of the world to shoulder their responsibilities regarding the serious and repeated Israeli violations of the principles of international law and international humanitarian law, and to oblige the Zionist entity and those who support it to stop their aggressions and crimes in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon “  and to hold accountable the officials and leaders of this entity for their crimes against the peoples of the region, and their continued support for terrorist organizations, which pose a constant and serious threat to the countries and peoples of the region and the world . It has become necessary to put an end to it”,the Ministry concluded.
