Syria condemns Israeli savage aggression on Gaza, expresses deepest condolences to families of the Palestinian martyrs

Damascus (ST) – Syria has expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the Palestinian martyrs who died as a result of the Israeli occupation aggression on Gaza Strip this dawn.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the Israeli occupation forces added a new crime to their war crimes and crimes against humanity in occupied Palestine by carrying out a savage aggression on Gaza Strip at dawn which resulted in the martyrdom of 13 Palestinians in a preliminary toll.

The ministry added that Syria affirms its support for the Palestinian people and their just case, adding that such criminal behavior will only increase the determination of the steadfast Palestinian people to pursue their struggle until they restore their full rights.

The ministry said: “Words of condemnation and denunciation are no longer enough. What is required now is to take practical measures to put an end to these Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people, and to hold the Israeli officials, who are trying to cover up their internal crises by escalating their aggression on the Palestinians, accountable for their crimes.
