Syria calls on UN member states to take firm measures and stop Israeli attacks

Syria called on member states of the United Nations to take firm measures to stop the Israeli attacks on its lands, noting that the continuation of these attacks comes as a result of the failure to take any serious action to curb the entity and stop its violations.

“The Syrian Arab Republic condemns the aggression launched by the Zionist entity this evening from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of civilian areas south of Damascus, which caused significant material damage in the targeted areas,” Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

The Ministry added that Syria stresses that the aggressive and criminal practices of the Israeli occupation entity and its continuous targeting of civilian areas are the result of not taking any serious action to curb this entity and stop its grave violations against the peoples and countries of the region.

“Syria calls on member states of the United Nations to take urgent action and firm measures to stop the Israeli aggression and hold its perpetrators accountable for their crimes,” the Ministry concluded.
