Syria calls for a global awakening of conscience and intensive work to end the Israeli massacres

Syria has stressed that the Israeli continuous massacres in Gaza Strip are being perpetrated under the sight of the United States and western country, pointing out that the so-called initiatives to stop these masscares are nothing but an attempt to give the Israeli occupation government enough time to complete the genocide agaibst the Palestinian people.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the criminal Israeli occupation forces committed more than five massacres today against the Palestinian people, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 112 Palestinians, most of them are children, women, the elderly, and the disabled.

It added that the continuous crimes, that have been committed by the occupation forces for more than ten months are taking place in full view of the United States and the Western countries that claim that they are working to stop the Israeli massacres and prevent the Israeli fascists from continuing their crimes.

The Ministry clarified that Syria followed up on the so-called “initiatives” to stop the Israeli massacres, but it was aware that all of this was nothing but an attempt to sew illusions and give more time to the Zionist criminal government to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people and complete the mission announced by the Israeli killing government, which is to exterminate this people. Whether it is in the Gaza Strip or in the West Bank.

The Ministry went on to say that Syria calls on the so-called international community not to keep silent over the Zionist entity’s escalation of its massacres and stresses the need to force this entity to comply with international law, international humanitarian law, and human rights law. Syria also calls for a global awakening of conscience and to work hard as to stop Israel’s crimes whose fire will spread throughout many parts of the region and the world if they are not stopped and if the Israeli criminals responsible for these crimes are not held accountable, the ministry pointed out.
