Syria, Arab Tourism Organization discuss ways to boost the tourism industry

Minister of Tourism Mohammad Rami Martini and Head of the Arab Tourism Organization Bandar bin Fahd Al Fheid on Friday discussed enhancing Arab cooperation in the field of tourism, stressing the need to join efforts as to consolidate and strengthen the tourism industry.

During their meeting at the conclusion of the 26th session of the Arab Tourism Ministerial Council in Doha, the two sides discussed cooperation in the field of tourism education and training and tourism investment after the council has decided to establish a branch for the Arab Tourism Academy in Syria.

The two sides also agreed on preparing the draft of the executive cooperation program between the Syrian Ministry of Tourism and the Arab Tourism Organization.
