Syria and Iran discuss cooperation and investment in the field of housing

Today, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdel Latif, discussed with the delegation of the Iranian-Syrian People’s Friendship Association prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of concern to the ministry and its affiliated bodies.

Abdul Latif stressed during the meeting, which was held in the Ministry’s building, the importance of activating cooperation relations with the Iranian side, following up on the previously signed memorandum of understanding and activating its provisions on the ground.

On his part, deputy head of the Iranian-Syrian People’s Friendship Association Ahmed Dastmalchian expressed his great desire to strengthen joint work relations and achieve bilateral cooperation between the association and the ministry, especially in housing and construction projects.

Finally, during the meeting, it was agreed to communicate between the technicians from both sides to follow up on all the details.
