Syria, Algeria to enhance cooperation in the industrial field

Damascus- Minister of Industry Abdul Qader Jokhdar discussed with the Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Kamel Bouchama means of enhancing and developing cooperation relations between Syria and Algeria in the industrial field.

The meeting, which was held in the ministry’s building today addressed ways of cooperation in the engineering, food and textile industries sector, and the mechanism for following up on the activation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides in the field of specifications and standards and benefiting from the available capabilities to improve productivity.

Minister Jokhadar reviewed the opportunities for cooperation and investment and mechanisms for exchanging expertise between industrial companies in the two brotherly countries, appreciating the support of Algeria, its leadership and people, for Syria and its people.

For his part, Bouchama stressed the importance of developing mechanisms for joint cooperation and strengthening relations between the two countries.

He stressed his confidence in the possibility of creating many opportunities for cooperation through developing common and effective visions in all fields.
