Syria affirms its rejection the Zionist “transfer” policy practiced against the Palestinians

Damascus- Syria has affirmed its rejection of the Zionist colonial “transfer” policy practiced against the Palestinian people, calling on the United States and the West to prevent the Israeli occupation from forcibly transferring 2.3 million people from Gaza Strip to Sinai, an area outside Palestine.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that “The Israeli intentions have been unmasked at last, as Israel has adopted a policy of ethnic cleansing and expulsion against the Palestinian people, as a firm policy, in order to replace the Palestinians, the original owner of the land of Palestine, with Zionist settlers.

Over the past few days, the Zionist entity killed more than 2,000 Palestinians, including children and women in Gaza Strip, and now it has exposed its intention to move about 2.3 million people from Gaza to Sinai.

The ministry went on to say that the International law, the international humanitarian law and the human rights law do not justify these Zionist practices, especially since what is internationally required is for the Palestinian people to exercise their right to return to their land. The ministry indicated that the occupation, during the past week, implemented the scorched-earth policy against the Palestinian children and women in Gaza Strip, Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the West Bank, destroyed the Palestinians’ homes, cut off food, medicine, electricity and humanitarian aid and destroyed about 20 hospitals in Gaza Strip, all with the aim of forcing the Palestinians to leave their lands in Palestine to Sinai, so that the tragedy of 1948 is repeated, as no Palestinian has returned to his land occupied that year.

The ministry called on the United States and the collective West not to be part of this crime and to prevent “Israel” from committing this criminal act which contradicts all human principles, stressing that these countries will be held responsible for the war crimes and the crimes against humanity being committed by the occupation against innocent Palestinians.
