On September 26, Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven affirmed that his country and the European Union rejected the plans of the Israeli occupation authorities aimed at annexing Palestinian lands , considering this unacceptable.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that Leuven said during his speech via video to the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly that his country supports the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the line of June 4, 1967 in accordance with agreed international standards in a manner conducive to an end to the occupation.
In his turn, Ralph Gonçalves, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, in a similar speech before the United Nations General Assembly, reiterated his country’s affirmation of the necessity of granting the State of Palestine full membership in the United Nations, condemning the settlement practices of the Israeli occupation.
