Sweden’s Prime Minister points to negative consequences for Europe’s security if her country joins NATO
Stockholm (ST): Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Anderson stressed today that Stockholm’s request to join NATO at the present time will only destabilize the situation in Europe.
Russia Today website quoted Andersen as saying in a press conference: “If Sweden decides to submit a request to NATO, it will further destabilize this part of Europe and increase tension, which contributes to destabilizing the situation.”
It is noteworthy that the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced earlier that Stockholm sent anti-tank weapons, body armor and financial aid to Ukraine with the amount of 52 million dollars.
