Susan confirms that some countries ignore Syrians’ will and continue their aggressive practices

Dr. Ayman Susan, head of the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic to the 16th  international meeting of Astana format in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, stressed that some countries still ignore the will of the Syrian people and continue their aggressive practices, considering that the Turkish regime’s continued support for terrorist organizations in Syria is a violation of the United Nations Charter and the Astana understandings.

During a press conference, Susan said that the US and Turkish occupation of parts of the Syrian territory is the most important reason for prolonging the crisis in Syria, and the two occupations continue to plunder the Syrian resources.

Susan added that the frantic campaign on the humanitarian situation in Syria represents the worst forms of hypocrisy, and its perpetrators ignore that they are the main cause of  the Syrians suffering as a result of their support for terrorism.

He clarified that the aid, which enters Syria through Bab AlHawa crossing point, reaches terrorist groups.

” The aid  turned from a tool to alleviate the suffering of the Syrians into a tool for supporting terrorism,” he affirmed.

Susan said that the cheap investment of the humanitarian issue aims to breach the Syrian state’s sovereignty and to offer all forms of support to terrorism.

Moreover, he underscored that cutting water supply , by the Turkish regime, for more than a million Syrians in Hasakah, is  as a war crime.

“The US and Turkish occupations of some areas in Syria prolongs the crisis in Syria and leads to the continuity of the suffering of the Syrian people,” Susan added calling on the international community to put an end to this occupation that poses a threat to the regional stability.

He underlined that Syria will pursue the US by all available legal ways for the crimes it committed against the Syrians.

As for the issue of abductors and detainees, Susan said that Syria attaches great importance to this issue.

He expressed Syria’s rejection of any foreign intervention  in the work of the Committee of Discussing the Constitution, asserting that the national delegation has been always constructive and positive in its proposals, while the other delegation was the one who was hindering all issues.
