Survivors of al-Zara Massacre Narrates Details of the Horrible Crime

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Some survivors of the massacre committed yesterday by foreign-backed terrorist groups in al-Zara village in Hama countryside spoke to the Syrian TV about the horrible crime and the state of panic caused in the village.  

“The terrorists infiltrated into the city at dawn, attacked the locals’ houses and savagely massacred scores of people including women, children and elderly in the houses and the roads,” one of the survivors said.

 “They killed my mother and aunt and abducted my uncle and killed his children,” he added, pointing out that the assailants, among which were many foreign terrorists, used PKC machineguns, laser sniper rifles and RPGs in their attack and managed to enter the houses where they killed whole families.

Another survivor, estimated the number of missing families at ten, noting that the terrorists killed the locals immediately after they kidnapped them. They also destroyed the houses of the villages.

Other survivors said they have contacts with the Syrian Army personnel as to ensure medical assistance to the wounded and help the locals move to safe areas.
