In an interview with Russia Today TV, the Spokeswoman  stressed the decisive  factor to deter extremists from committing such crimes is to stop financing and arming them from abroad and a clear condemnation by the international community to these crimes.

She added  that Russia proposed  a lot of initiatives to condemn the terrorist attacks and similar crimes occurred before in Syria, but rejected by the Western countries at the Human Rights Council and the UN Security Council because they confined themselves to condemning  the government and  keep silence over  what extremists do  in Syria.

She  pointed out that the possibility of an investigation into this heinous crime and to bring the criminals to trial is very difficult at the moment because of the  existing conditions and that  the international community does not know names of criminals, especially, they  in their ranks, a lot of foreign extremists , whose names are not identified.

She also  pointed out that Russia will ask the UN Human Rights Council to strongly condemn this crime, pointing out that the most important is the international response, especially that the joint statement of the recent G-8  summit emphasized the need to combat terrorism in Syria.
