 DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Support, financing of the terrorists in Syria should be halted as to solve the ongoing crisis, underscored Dr. Bouthaina, the Presidential Political and Media Advisor.

In an interview with the Syrian Satellite TV, Dr. Shabaan underlined the dire need for the implementation of the UN anti-terrorism resolutions.

Political solution for the crisis in Syria necessitates first and foremost the elimination of terrorism,” outlined Dr. Shabaan.

Dr. Shabaan pointed out that the situation in Syria is getting better, asserting the importance for an all-out fight against terrorism.

The Presidential Political and Media Advisor cited the face-saving moves and statements by some Western States leaders.

Dr. Shabaan added that the US-led alliance as to fight terrorism hasn’t been active in fighting terrorism, particularly ISIS, as has been clear where the world is convinced of this now.

President Vladimir Putin’s of Russia to form a wide front for fighting terrorism represents the first military track as to help the Syrian in fighting terrorism.

Such anti-terrorism front is to be created through a political resolution in the United Nations as to execute the UN Security Council resolutions and compel the countries supporting, dispatching and financing  terrorists to stop doing so, Dr. Shabaan added.
