Sultanate of Oman welcomes the lifting of US sanctions on Syria

The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the US President Donald Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Syria.

 

The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement posted on the X platform: “The decision is a step that enables the government and brotherly Syrian people to achieve development and prosperity.”

 

The statement praised the efforts of all brotherly and friendly Arab countries in promoting stability, thus supporting political and economic recovery in Syria.
