Sultanate of Oman donated one million dollars to the children of Gaza

 Muscat,(ST)- The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced that the humanitarian stances of the Sultanate of Oman and the aid it provided had an important and remarkable role in alleviating the suffering of the people of Gaza Strip resulting from the continued Israeli aggression. This aid will allow the organization to continue its humanitarian initiatives to help the people of Gaza Strip.

Oman News Agency reported that the international organization said: The Sultanate’s positions and the effective humanitarian contributions it has made to alleviate the suffering of civilians in Gaza “highlight the Sultanate of Oman’s firm position with the Palestinian issue and its firm support with Palestine towards peace in the interest of humanitarian work and its firm support for the well-being of children on the At the national and international levels.

“The Sultanate of Oman’s contributions and donation of one million dollars to children in Gaza Strip will play a vital role in providing basic assistance to children in the Gaza Strip who face great obstacles. It stressed that through this support, it will be able to continue implementing its vital programs and initiatives designed to enhance the lives of children and protect their needs in Palestine”. The organization added.

In this context, Sumayra Chaudhry, UNICEF representative in the Sultanate of Oman, confirmed that the aid provided by the Sultanate will have a moral impact in the lives of many children, which will provide them with basic support and hope for a better future.
