Subscription begins for renovation of houses damaged by terrorism in the countryside of Al-Haffeh, Lattakia

Requests by the residents of the villages of Babna and Al-Qadisiyeh began to be recieved and registered as of today, Tuesday, the 19th of April 2022, at the headquarters of Babna Municipality in Haffeh countryside of Lattakia governorate in order to restore the houses damaged as a result of terrorist attacks.

The subscription process includes residents and returnees to these two villages and will continue for three days until next Thursday. The restoration project is totally free of charge and registration is carried out in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The requests are received by the stakeholders who should observe the need to bring a copy of the personal identity, the family card and a family statement with a document proving ownership and occupancy of the house, “real estate registration statement”. Each family is allowed to submit requests for the restoration of one house only. The Municipality would not accept any request for previously-renovated houses.
