Student sit-in in Hasakah in condemnation of SDF militia’s attack on Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural engineering

Hasakah- The students of the faculties of Al-Furat University branch in the city of Hasakah on Thursday carried out a student sit-in in front of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering to condemn yesterday’s attack on the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Qusai Al-Omar, and to stress their rejection of the continuous violations committed by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) separatist militia that target the education process in all its stages.

Director of the university branch Jamal Al-Abdullah said during the sit-in: “Assaulting the dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering is unacceptable under any circumstances, and those who carried out this immoral attack will be held accountable”.

“Any attack on the faculty is an interference in its affairs, and an attempt to undermine our role in serving students and building an educated generation armed with science and scientific and theoretical knowledge,” he added, stressing the continuation of education in the faculty of Agricultural Engineering
