Strengthening the Syrian-Russian Friendship relations reviewed

Damascus (ST): The Syrian-Russian Friendship Committee in the People’s Assembly discussed with the Russian ambassador in Damascus, Alexander Yefimov, ways to enhance and advance bilateral relations, especially between the Syrian People’s Assembly and the Russian Duma.

The chairman and members of the committee stressed the importance of continuing joint work to serve the interests of the two countries and contribute to strengthening their unified and just positions in international arenas, appreciating the positions of the Russian Federation towards Syria in international forums and its active role on the ground in combating terrorism and what it offers to the Syrian people to overcome the repercussions of the war and the unjust economic siege imposed on it.

Ambassador Yefimov indicated that Russia was and is still ready to provide all support to Syria and its people, calling for intensifying meetings between the two sides to achieve the desired benefits and goals for the two friendly countries.
