“Story of My Homeland”
DAMASCUS,(ST)-With the aim of highlighting the aesthetic values of the Syrian touristic locations, the ministry of tourism launched a competition on short films and photography under the title ” Story of My homeland”.
Director of Promotion in the ministry, Bassam Barsik, was quoted as saying :”He who is interested in participating at the competition has to present a short promotional touristic film of 3-4 minutes. First and foremost, the film must shed light on the beautiful aspects of touristic, archaeological or religious and touristic sites, markets and traditional handicrafts.
“Films and shots of the films should have been neither sold, screened nor to have won an award in other competition. Furthermore, the director of promotion noted that participants shall have no right to withdraw the film after submission.
It is to be noted that the results will be announced in the forum on “Portrait and anecdote from my homeland” which is due to be held next June.
