Stopping Israel’s aggression on Gaza Strip the key to stability in the region: Abdollahian

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdollahian has affirmed that stopping the Israeli ongoing aggression on Gaza Strip is the key to stability in the region.

IN a press conference with his Lebanese counterpart Abdullah Bou Habib, Abdollahian said “Tehran and Beirut affirm that war is not the solution, and they never welcome its expansion in the region. It has become clear to the world that more than four months of war in Gaza and the West Bank have not achieved tangible results for the Israeli entity and its supporters.”

He pointed out that the United States is moving in two tracks: the first is to continue sending weapons and participate in the genocide in Gaza, and the second is to talk about a political solution. He stressed that if Washington is looking for stability in the region, the key to the solution is to stop the aggression against Gaza.

For his part, Bou Habib stressed the need to exert more efforts to halt the Israeli aggression and send humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza Strip.
