State Minister Discusses Ways of Boosting Work with SFIFF

Damascus, (ST)- Minister of State for Organizations and Federations Affairs Dr. Salwa Abdullah  discussed with the head of the Syrian Federation of International Freight Forwarders (SFIFF), Mohammed Saleh Kaishour and members of its Board of Directors ways to promote the development of the union and the obstacles and problems that hinder its way.

 Dr. Abdullah pointed out that the government is interested in activating the work of Federations as well as transport and shipping companies due to the important role they play in supporting the elements of the steadfastness of the Syrians.

  Dr. Abdullah called for cooperation and exerting efforts to resolve the problems and obstacles facing the work of the Federations, overcome them, achieve the aspired goals and establish a mechanism for processing.

 For his part, Mr. Kaishour said that the work of the Federation did not stop despite all the difficulties and damage facing the Federation, pointing to the need to find a new mechanism of action to ensure the rights of all actors involved in transport.

 The Chairman of the Federation pointed to the meetings related to the profession of shipping with the most affiliated companies to the Federation which have offices in the Arab countries for the continuation of the work of the Federation of transport and shipment of goods to the countries of the world.

 For his part, Director of the Road Transport at the Ministry of Transport Eng. Mahmoud Asaad explained that the goal of the meeting is to explain the link between the Ministry and the Federation and the tasks assigned to it, pointing out that through the relationship with the Federation all the companies that operate within the transportation field in Syria could be acquainted.
