“Spring’s Creations” exhibition shows works made by young artists

“Fayrouz Art Forum” held on Sunday a collective exhibition at  the Arab Cultural Center of  Abu Rummaneh in Damascus entitled  “Spring’s Creations”.
 
The exhibition, which was opened by  Mr. Wassim Moubayed, the director of Damascus Culture Directorate and Rabab Ahmad ,the director of the Center, included  diverse art works  such as  sculptures , paintings, wooden exhibits made by  26 young artists.
 
The paintings included classical, surreal, realistic, abstract, contemporary and white charcoal drawing.
 
Artist Fayza Al-Halabi, the supervisor of the exhibition told Syria times: “The goal of this exhibition is to encourage the  artistic experience of the young participants”.
 
“The participating artists are students, amateurs and graduators. We are a group composed of 70 young men and women, and we hold an exhibition every year” Al-Halabi said. 
 
“The participating artists display oil and acrylic paintings belonging to  realistic, abstract expressionistic schools  . We have been holding exhibitions since 8 years” she added. 
 
Rana  Al- Huri, young participant displayed a gypsum sculpture.  She has participated in many exhibitions and she is interested in the  experiences of other artists.
 
 Loran Othman another young artist displayed 4 paintings using warm colors depicting woman who is a symbol of beauty , freedom and happiness. 
 
She has participated in several collective exhibitions, and she sees that her participation in such event makes people acquaint with her works. 
 
For her part, leen Al-Shaeib participated for the first time with two paintings reflecting man in our modern age  and the social circumstances he lives, using acrylic colors.
