Spiritual leader lauds Iran’s efforts in resolving crisis in Syria

Spiritual Leader, Sheikh Naim Hassan, on Friday lauded the efforts made by the Islamic Republic of Iran in resolving political crisis in Syria,according to IRNA.

Hassan made the remark in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Beirut, Ghazanfar Rokn-Abadi, on Friday.

In the meeting, the two sides reviewed regional developments, Lebanon’s events in particular.

On Syrian developments, he said they want the issue be resolved through political means and all call for restoration of tranquility and stability to Syria  as soon as possible.

Regarding significant role of Iran and its outstanding stands in regional developments, he said Iran plays leading role in resolving the issue through political means.

The Iranian ambassador, for his part briefed the Druze spiritual leader of Iran’s efforts in putting an end to crisis in Syria and said Zionist regime is the root cause of all problems in the region and the recent air raids of the Zionist regime to a research center around Damascus proves the claim.
