Spanish Supporters in Solidarity with Syrian People, Government against Terrorism
MADRID,(ST)_ The anti- world imperialism and wars society in the Spanish Communist Party yesterday held a seminar of solidarity with Syria, under the title of “solidarity with the Syrian people and government” against plots and terrorist acts it has been experiencing, at UNESCO friends club in Madrid.
University professor and media researcher Pablo Sabbagh stressed that what is happening in Syria is targeting the Syrian people and state institutions, referring to the role played by the forces of “jihadist – Western” cheap alliance, in planting and dissemination of terrorism and the destruction of Syria’s civilization and history through falsification of facts in the service of armed terrorist organizations.
Al-Sabbagh carried Arab and regional countries, which sponsor terrorism, “jihadist” organizations and cheap media agencies, as well as ignorance of some journalists t and the presence of journalists “jihadists” full responsibility for shedding the Syrian blood,systematic killings, ethnic and religious cleansing in the Syrian society.
For her part, Spanish social and political sciences researcher, professor Ankeliet Dieth talked about American hegemony over the EU decision to serve its interests and plans, noting that US President Barack Obama wanted to hit Syria and undermine the Syrian army in the service of Israel and its collaborators in the region.
Deputy Secretary-General of the Spanish Communist Party Francisco Frutos noted the greatness of the Syrian people, the sovereign Syrian state, and relations of co-existence between all spectrums of the Syrian society.
He stressed support for the Syrian people, government and army in the fight against terrorism and resistance against terrorist organizations, calling for a peaceful and political solution to the crisis in Syria and on international organizations to stop terrorism in this country.
Acting Charge d’affaires ai at the Syrian Embassy in Spain Milad Attiah spoke about the gross violations of the values, principles, and laws of the international community and the UN Security Council and charters by certain Western countries.
Attiah pointed to the danger imposed by Daesh terrorist organization on the region and the world because of the spread of its jihadi ideology, backed with money, weapons and mercenary warriors from all over the world, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, the US and Israel, with the aim of carrying out terrorist operations to serve Israeli –American agenda.
He expressed thanks for the efforts made to hold the seminar and for all countries and friendly governments that sided with the Syrian people in this crisis.
The seminar was attended by Venezuelan Ambassador to Spain, several researchers, academics, and media professors and a crowd of the Syrian community in Madrid and Spanish friends.
