Spanish Delegation Express Solidarity with Syrian People and Army

Spanish delegation composed of economists and journalists have expressed their solidarity with Syrian people and army in confronting the fiercest terror attack in contemporary history against a civilized state such as Syria.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the delegation visited the Syrian embassy in Madrid and condemned the foreign-backed terror organizations’ crimes against civilians.

The Spanish delegation denounced their country’s paralyzed policy and its subjection to the U.S. hegemony that practices double-standard policy towards peoples. They referred to the role of media outlets in misleading  the Spanish public opinion through depicting terrorist organizations in Syria as peaceful “rebels” who call for what they call “freedom and democracy”.

They expressed their sorrow over involvement of some Spanish media outlets in the shedding of Syrian blood and destroying the most beautiful country, Syria.

On his part, Chargé d’affaires at the Syrian embassy in Madrid Mr. Milad Ateyeh briefed the delegation on the war being waged on Syria and the practices of terrorist organizations that receive all types of support from several Arab and western regimes, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Qatar, the U.S. and Israel.

“The war on Syria is between a free-resistant people and criminal organizations, which target humanitarian civilization and history in accordance with foreign plots,” Ateyeh said.

Since 2011, a foreign-backed terror war has been waged against Syria targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
