Spanish Communist Party: America and its NATO allies have caused a disaster for the Afghan people

Madrid (ST): The Spanish Communist Party asserted that the US and its NATO allies failed after 20 years of war and military occupation of Afghanistan and caused a strategic and catastrophic disaster for the Afghan people.

In a statement, the party held the US government, NATO and Western governments responsible for creating pain, suffering and death for the Afghan people, calling for all American presidents to appear before the International Court of Justice to be held accountable for the crimes committed since the beginning of the occupation of Afghanistan with lies and false and fabricated arguments.

The party condemned the US and Western military interventions in the affairs of other countries under false pretexts and arguments.

The developments of events in Afghanistan accelerated with the entry of the Taliban movement, the capital, Kabul, and its control over most government institutions, in light of the Western countries’ attempt to speed up the evacuation of their nationals and leave the country in chaos.
