Spanish anti-imperialism Agency condemns the US unilateral measures imposed on Syria

Madrid (ST): An anti-imperialism Agency in the Spanish Catalonia District has denounced the unilateral coercive measures being imposed by the US on Syria, calling for their immediately lifting  to ensure the basic needs for Syrian people, especially those related to the health sector in light of the spread of the Corona virus pandemic.

In a statement released today, the Agency said that these unilateral measures are considered a crime against humanity and the international perpetrators should be put to trial, noting that lifting the economic embargo imposed on Syria is a step towards ending and defeating criminal acts against humanity and against the usurpers of the Syrian people’s basic rights.

The statement affirmed that lifting the embargo is a legal act that helps the Syrian people obtain the basic technological and production  components that help them alleviate the huge damage and devastation caused by the terrorist organizations and the Turkish regime which plundered machines and factories of the Syrian people.

The Agency concluded expressing confidence that Syria would emerge victorious against the blockade.
