Buenos Aires, (ST) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has called for people who have been vaccinated with the Russian “Sputnikv” vaccine against the Corona virus to be allowed to enter the territory of European Union countries. “I consider it necessary to allow citizens who have been vaccinated with the Russian vaccine to enter the European Union,” Sanchez was quoted as saying by the media during his visit to Argentina. He said that, even if the vaccine has not yet been approved by the European regulator, this should not be an obstacle for tourists who have been vaccinated with “Sputnik v” to enter Europe.
The Russian vaccine is undergoing tests from the European Medicines Agency as a procedure that precedes the process of its official registration in the European Union.
