DAMASCUS,(ST)_Delegations representing brotherly and friendly parliaments continue to arrive in Damascus to follow up on the Syrian presidential elections to be held on May, 26, 2021.
A delegation from South Ossetia headed by the speaker of its parliament Alan Tudyk arrived last night in Damascus upon an invitation from the Syrian People’s Assembly to follow up on the forthcoming elections.
Tudyk declared upon his arrival in Damascus that holding the Syrian presidential elections is the duty of the Syrian people, who have the right of deciding the future of their country.
He affirmed that his country supports Syria.
Two other parliamentary delegations arrived in Damascus yesterday.
On April, 28, 2021, the Syrian parliament approved on inviting friendly and brotherly parliaments to follow up on the presidential elections.
