Soussan, Pedersen discuss latest developments in Syria

Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Soussan and Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Syria Geir Pedersen held a meeting on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 20th international meeting on Syria in the Astana format.

The two sides discussed a number of issues related to Pedersen’s mission and reviewed the latest developments on Syria.

Earlier in the day, the Syrian delegation, led by Soussan, held two bilateral meetings with the Russian delegation and the Iranian delegation to discuss the agenda of the 20th international meeting on Syria in the Astana format.
