Sousan: Turkish regime protects terrorist organizations, and Syria rejects external interference in the work of the Constitution Discussion Committee
Sochi, (ST) – Dr. Ayman Sousan, head of the Syrian Arab Republic delegation to the 15th International Meeting on Syria within the Astana format stressed the need for the Turkish regime to adhere to the agreements concluded with the Russian side to eliminate terrorist organizations and end the anomalous situation in the de-escalation zone in Idlib.
During a press conference in the city of Sochi, Sousan said that, “the Turkish regime protects terrorist organizations in a blatant violation of all international laws and covenants, and has cut water off the city of Al-Hasakah for more than 18 times, some of which have extended for more than a month. This amounts to war crimes.”
Sousan added that, “Syria rejects any external interference in the work of the Constitution Discussion Committee, which is led by Syria.”
