Sousan discusses with Moreno the close relations of cooperation between Syria and Venezuela

The Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Ayman Sousan, discussed with the Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister for Middle East Affairs, Tatiana Moreno, and the accompanying delegation, the close relations of cooperation between the two friendly countries, and ways to enhance them in various fields.

Dr. Sousan stressed that the reactivation of the air line between Caracas and Damascus paves the way for increased communication between the two countries, especially at the level of economic activities, in a way that allows the development of economic cooperation relations, and an increase in trade exchange between the two countries to confront the policy of sanctions imposed by the colonial West countries.

For her part, Moreno expressed high appreciation for Syria’s positions regarding the American attempts to destabilize Venezuela and the world.

Moreno stressed Venezuela’s continued support for Syria, and the need to strengthen relations between the two countries to reach the level of the existing political relations between them.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalil Bitar, Director of the US Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Venezuelan Ambassador to Damascus.
