Sousan and Director of the Regional Office of the United Nations Tourism Organization discuss ways of joint cooperation

Riyadh-,(ST)- Dr. Ayman Sousan, Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met this morning with Samer Al-Kharashi, Director of the Regional Office of the United Nations Tourism Organization for the Middle East.

The two sides discussed ways of cooperation between the regional office of the organization and the Syrian Ministry of Tourism in all fields related to tourism, where Al-Kharashi expressed readiness to establish the best forms of cooperation with Syria.

For his part, Dr. Sousan stressed the interest that Syria attaches to tourism and the incentives it provides in the field of tourism investment, especially since the factors of tourism attraction are multiple in Syria, and cooperation with the regional office will enhance and support Syrian efforts in this regard, especially in terms of qualifying cadres working in the tourism sector and promoting tourism in its various forms.
