‘Souria Btjmana’ Association and SIIB honor martyrs’ mothers

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the National Social Association “Souria Btjmana ” [Syria brings us together] in cooperation with the Syria International Islamic Bank (SIIB) held Wednesday a celebration to honor many martyrs’ mothers in the al-Assad Library in Damascus.

The celebration, held under the title “Syria is the mother of martyrs”, included showing a film on the greatness of the Syrian mother through history and her steadfastness during the terror war on Syria.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Souria Btjjmana ” Rami al-Halabi said: ” Mothers and wives of martyrs were and still paving the way for Syria’s victory through their martyrs, who defended their homeland .”

 

He saluted the Syrian Arab army and allied forces, affirming the need for the continuity of loyalty process to consolidate solidarity principle on which Syrians were groomed up. 

On his part, the SIIS Executive Chairman Abdul Qader al-Dwek said that the initiative of holding the celebration comes within framework of appreciation for martyrs, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted Minister of Social Affairs Rema Qadri as citing that the government attaches great importance to the mothers of martyrs to help them continue their life through calculated programs.

Several martyrs’ relatives asserted their readiness to sacrifice their lives for the homeland.

Representatives of the Political Administration, Interior Ministry, National Defense Leadership, Palestinian Liberation Army, civil society plus clergymen attended the celebration held under the patronage of Social Affairs Minister.
