“Sona” spreads joy in (Santa Claus’s Magic Factory)

Under the auspices of the Armenian Orthodox Archdiocese of the Archdiocese of Aleppo and its dependencies, the Uhud School for Christian Education in Lattakia presented the play Sona Musical band (Santa Claus’s Magic Factory), at Dar Al-Assad Theater for Culture in Lattakia.

Sirly Kozian (choreographer and dance instructor in SONA band) talked about the theatrical and lyrical performance, saying: SONA band consists of multiple and diverse age groups, based on Sona’s great love for children .. Our party today is on the occasion of Christmas and New Year’s, and we will present our show (Santa Claus’s Magic Factory).

Regarding the content of the show, she continued: The singing and dancing concert includes about twenty songs in two chapters. Preparations and rehearsals for it took about six months, between recording and preparing the songs, choosing a sound for their words and practicing dancing and recording it.

Sirly pointed out that the eight-year-old Sona band, coming from Aleppo, hopes  to spread joy in the hearts of children, especially during the previous war. This is their third visit to Lattakia, as it was preceded by two participations, but in the Armenian language, and this is the first in Arabic.
