Damascus, (ST) – Activities of Syria Mosaic Exhibition were held at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus. The event was organized by the Syrian Federation of Exporters, Development and Promotion of Exports Authority, the General Establishment of Exhibitions and International Markets, the Economic Group to Promote International Investments and al –Bajaa Group for Exhibitions and International Conferences. Some 80 foreign companies, institutions and agencies took part exhibition.
The Minister of Tourism Eng. Bisher Yaziji underlined that the exhibition comes in the framework of supporting the business sector and the national capital, which has had a big role in the steadfastness of Syria and will also have a role in the reconstruction phase, pointing out that the exhibition included works from the economic and social mosaic.
Eng. Yaziji said that the products and goods of the exhibitors and participating bodies in the exhibition are a clear evidence of the creativity of the Syrians and their determination to continue to live in spite of the fierce war they have exposed to.
For his part, organizer of the exhibition, Dr. Nabil Marzouk, clarified that the activities of the exhibition included about 80 companies and institutions from the insurance and banks sector, education, furniture, hotel equipment, real estate, technology and electrical appliances.
Some exhibitors were pleased to participate in this important economic event, where the Sales Manager of al -Sham Bank, Abdulhalim Haymour, pointed out that the Bank’s participation came to offer new banking services and financing for industrialists and traders in conjunction with geographic expansion through the opening of new branches.
For his part, the Director of Tourist Science at the Institute of Tourist Civilization Wael Sharaf indicated that the exhibition is an added value to the tourism sector in Syria through the promotion and integration of academic learning with experience and business available in the market.
The Director of the AMG Company, Eng. Jamil Fannouna, considered the participation in the exhibition as a message to the whole world that “the Syrians are determined to build their country with their hands and their potential.
The exhibition included cosmetics, hotel equipment, printing services, food stuff, clothing, handmade products, electronics, furniture, architecture, cooking utensils, detergents, decoration, engineering, insurance and banking studies.
