Some 70 Specialist Companies Take Part in Khan al Harir Show

Damascus, (ST) – With the participation of 70 companies specialized in clothing and fabrics, activities of the Specialist “Khan al Harir” Showin the World of Fashion Fabrics kicked off on Sunday at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus. The three –day event is held by the Aleppo Chamber of Industry.

 

In a statement to local press, the Aleppo Chamber of industry pointed out the show in these circumstances represents the effort made by industrialists to maintain the quality of their products despite the circumstances of the siege, theft and looting, which affected their facilities to supply the domestic market products as well as export and permanent search for new markets.

Earlier, the Head of the Chamber’s Board of Engineers  Faress Shehabi said that the shoe is a new start for textile industry in Aleppo as the city is the industrial capital of Syria’s and the textile capital of the Middle East.
