Some 300 Terrorists Trained in Jordan to Fight in Syria- CNN

AGENCIES, (ST) _In a new emphasis on the great and growing support given by Arab and Western countries to armed terrorist groups which have been for two years carrying  out acts of killing, destruction and looting of public and private property , a source from these groups revealed that the  first group of “rebels” had returned to Syria after received various American training  inside Jordanian territories.

The source, described as a senior spokesman for the  “rebels” told  the CNN  that : ” 300 among other  revolutionaries “were trained by members of the U.S. Army and intelligence to use various  types of  weapons including anti-armor and anti-aircraft missiles  , along with training them on the use of other types of advanced systems. “

More “rebels “are being trained at the moment. The source added.

Meantime, well-informed Tunisian sources  said that  Tunisian security services authorities began to dismantle networks work on recruiting hundreds of young Tunisians and sending  them for fight  against the Syrians.

In a report published on Friday, the Tunisian daily al-Shorouk  said that one network  has been active near  Carthage Presidential Palace in  the northern suburbs of the capital Tunis, where leaked information indicate that those networks get  a commission of 3 thousand dollars for every young Tunisian recruited to join   the terrorist groups in Syria and  that huge sums of money received from Qatar via  sensitive border points like Tunis-Carthage airport.

The paper also noted reports confirmed the involvement of more than twenty Tunisian ” Human Rights, Charitable  or political”  Societies alongside with politicians, including members of the Constituent Tunisian Council who will be identified   in the coming days.
