DAMASCUS,(ST) – The total quantities of fertilizer exported to overseas markets since the beginning of the year until the end of the tenth month of last reached up to 110 thousand tons of fertilizer, sources at the General Organization for Chemical Industry said.
This quantity of fertilizer was stored in the company’s warehouses as a result of the inability of the Agricultural Bank to dispose of this storage because of security conditions and the accumulation of stock in the company’s warehouses which led to the cessation of production. The process of exporting will help return the cycle of production, particularly phosphate fertilizer and urea. The total value of the exported quantities mentioned above availability reached to $ 26 million.
