Some 1000 persons have joined settlement process in Deir Ezzor over the past 24 hours

The all-out settlement process in Deir Ezzor continued for the 8th consecutive day with the aim of settling the legal status of the wanted persons and military service deserters in this province.

Some 1000 wanted people have joined the settlement process over the past 24 hours, raising the number of the people who have so far joined this process to 6000, SANA reporter said on Monday.

Awad Hassan Al-Wakkaa said that he fled military service in 2012, but today he returned after he had settled his legal status and handed over his individual weapon in preparation to rejoin the Syrian Arab Army and take part in the process of defending the homeland.

Sheikh Hashem Al-Sattam from Al-Buezzidin clan said that the settlement process is an opportunity for all misled persons to correct their behavior and return to normal life under the state’s umbrella.

He pointed out that hundreds of citizens from Deir Ezzor province come daily to the settlement center to settle their legal status which indicates that all these misled persons have realized that the Syrian state is the only guarantor of the Syrian people and the Syrian army is the protector of the land and citizens.
