PRATISLAVA, (ST)-It is not possible to solve the crisis in Syria without President Bashar Al-Assad’s participation,” Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has affirmed.
Fico, who was speaking to Slovak radio yesterday evening, said without cooperation with President Al-Assad, it is not possible to defeat the terrorist organization calling itself the “Islamic State of Iraq and Levant” (ISIL), which is now the biggest danger threatening all.
“ISIL can only be defeated by force,” the Slovak Premier reiterated, calling for abandoning accusations and differences on the fight against ISIL.
In another context, Fico rejected the accusations made against his country for not showing enough cooperation in solving the refugee crisis in Europe. He said his country has allocated 21 million Euros for assistance in this issue.
